Field trips to Agromin composting facilities (grades 2 and up) allow students to see first-hand how leaves, grass clippings and other organic materials are cleaned, chopped and naturally composted.
Children leave with a better understanding of the importance of organics recycling and how it helps our planet. Plus, they become enthusiastic organic recycling advocates.
School Gardens
Every year, Agromin contributes soil products to school gardens across California. Young gardeners get their hands dirty planting fruit trees, vegetables and flowers.
Agromin representatives are available for in classroom discussions about the environmental value of recycling organic materials.
Earth Day Celebrations
Agromin is a proud supporter of Earth Day and Arbor Day celebrations. You can usually find us handing out compost to help gardens and trees get the right start.
Nonprofit Gardens
If your nonprofit organization has a garden in need of soil, Agromin may be able to help.
We contribute soil products to many worthy projects throughout California including Habitat for Humanity, Oxnard Historic Farm Park, Urban Farming and Ventura County Rescue Mission.
