The City of Sacramento is offering free certified organic compost to city residents through December 15. The city partnered with Agromin to coordinate compost distribution, available in bags or bulk.
The compost, processed from green waste collected by the City’s Recycling and Solid Waste Division, is available as part of a program that provides high-quality soil amendment while meeting requirements under California State Senate Bill 1383.
