Compton High School is currently being renovated into a state-of-the-art learning center with new educational spaces, a performing arts center and fitness and athletic venues. Agromin is proud to supply both our Compost 100 and Cover Mulch for the landscaping of this exciting project.
Agromin materials are found throughout the campus exterior. During the initial landscaping phase, Compost 100 is mixed with native soil to plant drought-tolerant, low-maintenance vegetation in parking lots, along walkways and in spaces across the campus. A layer of Agromin’s Cover Mulch is then applied to hold in water and prevent erosion.
The school is scheduled to open in 2025. Once complete, the campus will be transformed from the district’s oldest high school into one of California’s most dynamic learning environments. We’ll share landscaping updates as more trees and plants are added.
